Chelation therapy involves intravenous injection of mixture of vitamins, minerals and amino acid, called EDTA. Since 1960’s more than 1000 articles published in the scientific literature attested to the many beneficial effects of EDTA. Overall, EDTA was shown to have more than 20 physiologic and biochemical actions in the human body.
Because of these effects, chelation therapy has been successfully used in many conditions, such as abnormal or irregular heart rhythm, cataracts, arteriosclerosis, claudication (pain in legs), coronary heart disease, ulcers from diabetes or poor circulation, gangrene, high calcium levels, high blood pressure, kidney stones, osteoporosis, peripheral vascular disease, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, senile dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, stroke, and many other conditions in which blood circulation impaired.

It is a safe, effective, comfortable and relatively inexpensive treatment to detoxify tissue cells and restore blood flow. During this procedure, the chelating agent EDTA is injected into the body; it captures ions of minerals floating in the bloodstream or other tissue fluids and bonds them into ringed structures. The ions and the EDTA are eventually eliminated through the usual waste –disposal systems, the kidneys or the bowel.
Dr. Yutsis has 20 years of experience in chelation therapy.
